At Cohesion Financial Solutions, we believe that equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) are essential to building a responsible and impactful business. Although we are a small team today, we are committed to embedding inclusive practices into the way we work, grow, and engage with our clients, partners, and community. Our aim is to create a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to thrive.
Purpose
This policy sets out Cohesion’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. It provides guidance on how we approach decision-making, recruitment, collaboration, and representation in line with UK best practice and B Corp values. This policy reflects our commitment to the principles of the Equality Act 2010 and to going beyond compliance in line with our values as a purpose-driven business.
Scope
This policy applies to everyone at Cohesion as well as contractors, freelancers and any future employees. It also reflects the standards we hold ourselves to in our work with clients and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Everyone at Cohesion has a role to play in upholding this policy. The co-founders are jointly accountable for ensuring that decisions and behaviours align with these commitments. As we grow, all employees will be expected to take personal responsibility for supporting an inclusive workplace culture.
Implementation
We will integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion into the way we operate by:
- Reviewing this policy annually and updating it as our business evolves.
- Reflecting our ED&I commitments in recruitment and selection processes.
- Seeking feedback from colleagues, clients, and partners to ensure our practices are fair and inclusive.
- Sharing updates on our progress publicly where appropriate, as part of our accountability to our stakeholders and our aspiration to achieve and maintain B Corp standards.
Transparency
We believe transparency is key to accountability which is why we share the Policy publicly on our website. By doing so, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to ED&I, signal to our stakeholders that these principles guide our work, and invite feedback to help us continually improve. This policy is not static. As Cohesion grows, we will review, adapt, and strengthen our approach to ED&I to ensure it reflects best practice, allows us to operate in a manner consistent with our legal and regulatory obligations, and embodies our values as a purpose-driven business.
